Long day at school. All this training is spiking my appetite!! I did not bring enough food... Oops! Anyways, got alot accomplished and after school is coming together. I left school hungry tired and sore and I know I have to push through this workout! I bought a protein bar and got going.
2 miles up @ 8:00 min very easy
3 mile tempo 19:10 (6:23 pace) not bad! Felt relaxed and in control. Started at 6:30 for the first 1.5 miles then cut back. I was pleased. 2 min walk
2.5 mile cool down 7:50 pace
Walked 3 minutes and did my leg circuit...
4x25 leg ext 30 sec rest
4x25 prone leg curls 30 sec rest
4x25 abduction/aduction 25 each with 30 sec rest
4x20 light leg press... Stopped at 4 sets because it was hurting my lower back.
Overall, this hurt!!! Try doing burnout legs a day after a long ride and hammering the run! Woooo!
