Decided to sleep in til 5. This was a very good idea! My foot was pretty swollen last night so I decided to rest it this morning and ice it some more. I believe the soreness came from me tackling my boyfriend for doing something silly. I remember pushing off barefoot with that toe and felt a pain. So lots of ice and ibuprofen should get that swelling back down.
School was good, dibeled and TRCed all day. It's a slow day but I don't mind testing the students and getting to see their progress! YAY!
GYM TIME!! Decided to tape my foot to keep it from moving before my run on the treadmill. Well, a half mile in I stopped and took it off. It was actually causing more pain. I am now re-thinking what this could be on my foot?! After I got it off, I hopped on and kept going 1 mile at 7:50, half mile at 7, half mile at 7:40, 1 mile 6:50, half mile at 7:40, a mile at 6:50 and half mile at 7:30 and then a cool down at 8:00. No foot pain. Felt relaxed and was carrying on a conversation during the whole thing. In all, 5.92 miles...silly number but stopped at time. I am trying so hard not to push. I just feel so fit right now.
I met an old client to put her through a spin class. It wasn't a true spin class by she had never been on a spin bike so I eased her into it. It was 65 min. Of rolling hill and sprints. It felt like a decent workout.
On a side note, Tough Mudder Indiana is moved to June 16th and I am in a wedding that weekend in Florida. Talk about timing. I'm a little upset that I now may have to wait until October for the next closest one. Unless anyone is willing to travel with me this summer?!?!
