If I am going to call myself a Triathlete I must follow through with training. Triathlon is three not two! I made myself get into the pool after work. I was cold and did not want to put on a swimsuit and get in water, but I did. I am so happy I did. I swam 30 minutes at easy to moderate pace. Then I did 5x100 free with 45 seconds rest. Note: I don't do flip turns...I need to learn. Anyways I went 1:50,1:48,1:46,1:44,& 1:41. I am not a swimmer and took about a year or more off of any pool work. I remember doing repeats like this and they were usually 1:45's so I am actually happy with this workout. Anytime you get faster, that's good...right?! I was feeling motivated so I then got on the spin bike and did a spin workout. I was on there for about 70 minutes. Lots of sprinting and rolling hills! Felt good but I am starving!!!! My boyfriend had a meeting tonight so I had to eat alone. Bummer... Happy with training. I am going to try a treadmill run tomorrow. Foot is still making progress!
On a side note, I finally have clip in pedals on my bike!!! Looks the weather now may keep me off the road a bit but I can't wait to see how fast I will be able to go now!!! Yay!!
